MILFORD - Ronda C. Davis formerly of Mt. Airy, N.C., passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at her home. Ronda was born on Jan. 31, 1955 in Elkin, N.C., daughter of the late William and Anna Belle Pilkington Moore. She was employed as a CNA with Surry Friends Seniors in Mt. Airy for 20 years, leaving that position in 2005 on disability because of declining health. Ronda loved reading through her Bible and cherished the special times spent with her family especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H. Dean Davis; and her brother, Thomas R. Moore. She is survived by three sons, Christopher J. Moore and his wife Jaclyn, Roland W. Moore III and Matthew A. Davis, all of Milford; two sisters, Patricia A. Rogers and her husband Steven of Milford; and Donna L. Moore of Mt. Airy, N.C.; six grandchildren, Tera Vawter, Tyler Collins, Destiny Hope McCreary, Cameron Andrew Moore, Hunter Davis and Austin Davis; and several nephews. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call two hours prior. Burial will be held in the Oakley Cemetery in Ellendale. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to help defray funeral expenses to Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, DE, 19963.
