Ronald Lewis Mosher Jr.

Mosher, Jr., 69 KENTON - Ronald Lewis Mosher, Jr. passed away Feb. 12, 2013 at the Villages Hospital in Lady Lake, Fla. where he was spending the winter. Born in Franklin, Pa., he grew up in Eureka, CA. Ron was a US Navy Vietnam Veteran and had also served in the Merchant Marines. He was a lifetime member of Atterbury #3420 VFW Post and was Past Department Commander of the State of Delaware VFW in 88-89. He was a retired electrician for Kraft Foods in Dover and while at Kraft he had served as a Steward for Local 56 and the United Way campaign for many years. Ron leaves his wife, Jane E. Mosher of Kenton, Del.; three sons, Ronald Mosher,III of Buffalo, N.Y., John Zistl, Jr. and wife Debi of Hartly, Del., Eric Zistle and wife Casana of Pedricktown, N.J.; two daughters, Lori Stapf and husband, Alan of Marydel, Del. and Donna Mitchell and fiance, Ken Brown of Elkton, Md.; two sisters, Ione Maker and spouse, Paul of Walnut Creek, Calif., and Peggy Miles of Gainesville, Va.; along with six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call Friday evening., March 1, 2013, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial which will be offered 10 a.m. on Saturday March 2, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Marydel, Md. Interment in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park in Elkton, Md. will be private. Condolences may be made via www.ambruso.com
