Ronald J. Bajor

DOVER - Ronald J. Bajor passed away on Jan. 17, 2013 in his home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on June 5, 1940 he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna Sekela Byer. He graduated from Mahanoy Township High School class of 58. He had lived in New Jersey for 40 years and had worked for the Delco Division of General Motors retiring in 1991 after 30 years of service. He was active in Little League and softball and was a die- hard Phillies and Eagles fan. He was an active member of the Holy Cross Parish. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, John, and Leonard; and four sisters, Mary, Helen, Cecelia and Margaret. Mr. Bajor is survived by his wife the former Anne Marie Gober; two sons, Ronald of Crofton, Md.. and Mark of Harpers Ferry, W.V.; along with two grandchildren, Justin and Meghan who were the apples of his eye; a brother, Francis of Conygham, Pa.; and his sister, Theresa of Frackville, Pa.; along with several nieces and nephews. Friends may call starting at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013 at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso 1175 S. State St. Dover. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 1 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church 631 S. State St. Dover. Interment will be private. Family suggests donations in his memory to Delaware Hospice, 911 S.
