Ronald C. Walrath

MILFORD - Ronald C. Walrath devoted man of God, formerly of E. Liverpool, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on March 2, 2013, at his home in Milford. He was born Jan. 1, 1943 in Bay City, Texas, son of the late Vernon A. Walrath and Mary Foust Walrath. Ron was a devoted man of God, a husband, father, grandfather and friend. He served in the US Navy, was a machinist by trade, fisherman by choice. Through church and his children, Ron adopted many family members along the way, whom were dearly loved. He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Faith Walrath; and six nieces and nephews. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kathryn; three children, Christopher Walrath, Ronald Walrath, Jr. and wife Lyn and Sarah Jester and husband Eddy; six grandchildren, Ethan and Emily Nicole Cash, Steven Burton, Zachary and Ronald Walrath III, and Emily Grace Jester; siblings, Betty Neff and husband Bill and James Walrath and wife Wendy. A homecoming celebration will be held at 2 p.m. on Thurs., March 7, 2013 at the House of Praise for All People, 10280 Shawnee Rd, Greenwood, DE 19950. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the House of Praise, Missions Fund, or Lewy Body Dementia Assoc., 912 Killian Hill Road, S.W., Lilburn, GA 30047. Donations may also be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses. Arrangements handled by Berry Short Funeral Home.
