NEWARK - Rodney Lee Faulkner was sadly taken away on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013. Rodney was born April 18, 1991 in Dover, Del., the son of Patsy Faulkner of Dover. He worked in the restaurant industry. Rodney enjoyed basketball and skateboarding. He was a fan of NASCAR and Jeff Gordon. Most of all, he enjoyed his two precious baby twin girls and spending time with his family. Rodney was a very caring and generous person who had a loving heart. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George E. Faulkner; his uncle, Gene Hart; and his aunt, Margie Hufford. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-father, John Donophan of Dover,Del.; his twin daughters, Mariah and Makayla; his fiancée, Kristy Miller of Newark, Del.; his grandmother, Iris Faulkner of Smyrna, Del.; his uncle Rick Faulkner and his wife Sandy of Townsend, Del.; his uncle, George Faulkner and his wife Virginia of Marydel, Del.; his aunt Jeanie Newton and her husband Logan of Miami, Fla.; and extended family. A viewing for family and friends will be held on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at 10 a.m in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located on 29 S. Main Street, Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 11 am. Burial will be held in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
