SALISBURY - Robert Wayne Riggin Sr. died Sunday, April 29, 2018, at his home. Born in Sanford, Va., he was the son of the late Thomas Roosevelt Riggin and Laura Mae Crockett Riggin.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Laura Eleanor Martens Riggin; three children, Robert Wayne Riggin Jr. of Homestead, Fla., Michael Thomas Riggin of Fruitland and Brandon John Riggin of Salisbury; three grandchildren; a sister, Mary Etta Howard of Virginia; three brothers, Vincent Eugene Riggin of Cape Charles, Francis Albert Riggin of Exmore and Edward Riggin of Hebron; two stepgrandsons; and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2018, at 1 p.m. at the Salisbury Moose Lodge, with the Rev. J. Harvey Dixon officiating. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
