Legates, 52 MAGNOLIA - Robert "Bobby" Lee Legates passed away Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 in the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. He was 52. Bobby was born on January 30, 1961 in Milford. He had worked as a self-employed carpenter and car mechanic. Bobby was a champion horse shoe player where he loved playing at the Delaware State Fair, and Argos Corner. He also enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Irving Legates; and a brother, David. Bobby is survived by his mother, Deloris Shahan; and stepfather, Leonard Shahan, Sr. of Woodside; fiancé, Carol Walls; three brothers, James Legates of W.Va., Leroy Legates of Dover and Joseph Legates of Florida; stepbrothers, Kenny Shahan, Lenny Shahan, and Brian Shahan. Service will be 12 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where visitation will be one hour earlier. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the funeral home to defray expenses.
