Reichelt Jr. 59 LINCOLN - Robert L. "Bob" Reichelt Jr. of Lincoln, passed on to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 16, 2013. Bob was born on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 1953 in Dover, Del., to the late Robert L. Reichelt Sr. and Shirley Price Reichelt. He enjoyed hot rods, drag racing, backyard BBQ's with family and friends and just having a good time. Bob will be remembered for having a wonderful sense of humor. He was compassionate and had a gift for making people and even animals feel better no matter what issues they were going through. He truly cared, had a great apprecation for life and had a heart of gold. Bob served in the U.S. Army for 9 years as an E-4 Specialist in communications. He was stationed most of those years in Wurzburg, Germany at Headquarters 123rd Signal Battalion. He recieved an honorable discharge and went on to dispatching for Dover Capitol Police and Kentcom 911. He was a member of The American Legion Post 3. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rosemary (Presley) Reichelt of Lincoln; a son, Robert L. Reichelt III of Wilmington; a daughter, Kara E. Reichelt of Milton; a grandaughter, Raven A. Fisher of Milton; a sister, Katherine Porterfield of Milford; a sister, Karen (Frank) Lloyd of Felton; and a host of aunts, neices, nephews, cousins, in-laws, friends and his little dog Bella. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 19th, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations made in Bob's memory sent to www.delspca.org.
