Prarie, Sr., 79 KENTON - Robert James Prarie, Sr. of Kenton passed away Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013 at home. He was 79. Mr. Prarie was born May 13, 1934 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey to the late Frank Prairie and Margaret Brennan Prairie. He had served in the United States Navy and then enlisted in the United States Air Force where he retired in 1974, after 22 years as a Msgt. Mr. Prarie enjoyed bowling, cruising, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Calvin, Leo and Bill Prairie; and three sisters, Dorothy Prairie, Eleanor Brown and Fran Prairie. He is survived by his son, Robert Prarie, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Kenton; sister, Peggy Disidori of Mickleton, N.J.; granddaughter, Desiree Prarie-Waterhouse and her husband Matt of Glassboro, N.J. A Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover.
