DOVER - Robert J. Taylor, Jr., passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2012, in East Falmouth, Mass. Robert was born in Milford, Del., and was a long-time resident of Dover. He lived in Kings Mountain, N.C. but was a summer resident of East Falmouth, Mass. Robert was a 32 year employee of General Motors, Wilmington, Del; previous Exalted Ruler (PER) of Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks Lodge 1903, Dover, Del. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Paula Taylor; mother, Irene E. Taylor; and brother, Donald Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Elaine P. Taylor; two daughters, Theresa L. Davis, and Donna M. Meeks; four grandchildren, Corin and Logan Davis and Justin and Hayley Meeks; his father, Robert J. Taylor, Sr.; a sister, Bonnie Owens; two brothers, Thomas and Barry Taylor. A memorial service will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2012, at the Elk's Lodge No. 1903, 200 Saulsbury Road, Dover, DE.
