ALLEN - Robert "Bobby" Harold Levin Fields, 78, died Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Allen, he was the son of the late Marguerite Dennis and Oliver Stanford, and was adopted and reared by his aunt and uncle, Robert and Amelia Fields. A 1956 graduate of the former Salisbury High School, he earned a degree in photography at New York Institute of Technology. He was employed for 44 years at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, where he had been the General Manager of Environmental Services, personnel assistant and retired as the Dark Room Specialist in Radiology. He was also employed for over 30 years with Jolley Memorial Chapel in Salisbury as an attendant and with Beth-Israel Synagogue in their housekeeping department. He was a lifelong member of Friendship United Methodist Church in Allen and served as vice president of the Friendship Community Choir. He is the founder and president of the Delmarva Usher's Association, consisting of 400 members. His survivors include his wife of 55 years, Mary Carr Fields of Allen; one daughter, Corliss Carr of Higginsville, Mo.; a granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was Saturday, July 16, 2016, at New Dimensions Family Ministries in Salisbury. Interment was in Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. Arrangements are in the care of Jolley Memorial Chapel in Salisbury.
