DOVER - Robert E. LaGrassa of Dover died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, in Bayhelth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 61.
Mr. LaGrassa was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., son of the late Frank and Mary LaGrassa.
He worked as a legal printer in New York for most of his adult life, until moving to Dover in 2002. He was employed by Dover Downs Hotel & Casino at the time of his death.
He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather.
Mr. LaGrassa especially enjoyed the moments spent with his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Frances (Bellino) LaGrassa; two daughters, Lisa P. Curto and Tara A. LaGrassa, both of Dover; a son, Christopher M. LaGrassa of Manhattan, N.Y.; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Richard and Joan LaGrassa of Long Island, N.Y. and Thomas LaGrassa of North Carolina; a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law, Vincent and Pauline DeVita of Dover; and three loving grandchildren, Brianna Rose Curto, Alexa Marie Curto and Kayla Marie Curto, all of Dover.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
Burial will be private in Lakeside Cemetery, Dover.
