Richard Rudy Haufe

MARYDEL - Richard Rudy Haufe, passed away Sat., May 2, 2015 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. He was born on Oct. 10, 1921 in Germany, son of the late Richard and Meta (Mann) Haufe. Richard served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during WWII as an Armed Guard for the U.S. Forces. Richard retired from Holtz Distributors, Dover. He also was a member of the Smyrna American Legion. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Richard Eric Haufe. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Bernice (Teat) Haufe; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Haufe of Camden; grandsons, Richard Haufe and William Haufe both of Camden. Service will be 1:00 p.m. Wed., May 6 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather one hour earlier. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
