DOVER - Richard Paul Funk passed away Sat., July 13, 2013 at Kent General Hospital. Richard was born Feb. 2, 1969 in Wilmington, Del. He had worked for the post office working in the maintenance department. Richard was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Dover where he was part of the deaf ministry. He enjoyed motorcycles, boating and working with his hands, especially maintenance and electrical work. Richard is survived by his mother, Lillian Funk of Felton; sisters, Kristi Breasure of Marydel, Del. and Lauren Funk of Felton; two nieces; one nephew; two grandnieces; and two grand nephews. Services will be held 7 p.m. on Mon., July 22, 2013 at Calvary Assembly of God Church, 1141 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10). Friends may call one hour prior. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19904 to help defray funeral expenses.
