Richard E. Muckey

CAMDEN - Richard E. Muckey died Nov. 6, 2016 at the Country Rest Home in Greenwood. Born in Lapeer, N.Y., he was the son of the late George and Lenora (Seymore) Muckey. Mr. Muckey had served as a Tech. Sgt. in the US Air Force and was a Korean and Vietnam Veteran. He retired in 1973 after 23 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion, Walter L. Fox Post and was a contributing member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Sibylle (Much) Muckey in 2015. He leaves several nieces and nephews, Duane Sims, of Groton, N.Y., Sherri Stull, of Courtland, N.Y., Leslee George, of Hampton, Va., and Dieter Much, Jr., of Germany. Also survived by his brother in-law, Dieter Much, Sr., also of Germany; along with several other nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016 from 12 noon until 1 p.m. at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc., 1175 S. State St., Dover, DE 19901. Services followed by honors will take place at 2 p.m. at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. Condolences may be made by visiting www.ambruso.com.
