FELTON - Richard A. "Seemore" Shatley died at home, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012. He was born March 21, 1947 son of the late Walter N. Shatley and Ruby D. Holder Shatley. He worked for General Motors for 30 years and retired in 1997. He loved CB radios and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed walking and riding his bicycle and model trains. His greatest love was his family and grandchildren. His favorite pastime was taking his granddaughters for a ride in the wagon behind his tractor. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debra; three daughters, Kimberly D. Sandstrom, Beverly A. Perry and Ruby D. Breslin; also six grandchildren, Matthew and Jonathan Perry, Joshua and Jacob Sandstrom and Isabella and Rosalina Breslin. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 in the chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home, Main Street, Felton, DE where friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. for a viewing. Interment will be Barratt's Chapel Cemetery; Frederica, DE. Contributions can be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803-0163.
