Richard A. Monahan

DOVER - Richard A. Monahan died Nov. 24, 2012 at his residence. Born in Jersey City, N.J. he was the son of the late Thomas J. and Maria Felicia Monahan. He had served as a Sgt. in the US Marine Corps and was a Korean War Veteran. For the greater part of his life he had worked as a Long Distance Truck Driver. Mr. Monahan was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed being at home with his family where he could often be found playing card games. Mr. Monahan leaves his wife, Joan M. Monahan of Dover; along with his sons, Richard A. and wife Mary Ann Monahan of No. Bergen, N.J. and Reagen M. Monahan of Edenton, N.C.; two grandsons, Thomas J. and Sean P. Monahan both of Ridgefield Pk., N.J.; and his sister, Arleen Villano of Ridgefield, N.J. A private Remembrance will be at the convenience of the family. Life's End Services are by Michael J.
