FRANKFORD — Delaware Crime Stoppers is offering a $12,000 reward as the investigation continues into the death of a 33-year-old Lincoln man in May 2021.
On May 18, 2021, at approximately 3:35 p.m., the Frankford Police Department and Delaware State Police responded to Honolulu Road and Kauffman Lane for a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a gray 2012 Volkswagen CC that had crashed into the front of a house.
The driver, identified as Dioandre “Onnie” Gibbs, had been shot nearby and crashed his car as he attempted to drive away, police said. Mr. Gibbs was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead.
Crime Stoppers is offering the reward money for information leading to an arrest. Tips can be submitted via 800-TIP-3333 or delaware.crimestoppersweb.com.
