SAN ANTONIO, TX - The Rev. Robert P. Holdt, retired AF chaplain and priest of the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009 in San Antonio. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Judith H. Markelz and Stephen; his brother, Donald H. Holdt, of Cambridge; and two grandchildren, Cpt. Dr. Brian P. Markelz and David D. Markelz. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009 at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach, San Antonio, TX 78258. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Returning Heroes Home, 1162 E. Sonterra Blvd., Suite 210, San Antonio, TX 78258; or to the Alzheimer's Association, 7400 Louis Pasteur, Suite 200, San Antonio, TX 78229.
