PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Ressie L. McClendon Cartwright-Brooks passed away on Dec. 11, 2016 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. Ressie is survived by five children, Kenneth Jr. (Gloria), of Felton, Dawn Scott (Rick), Charles Cartwright, Troy Cartwright, and Nigeria Bates, all of Philadelphia, Pa. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016 at 1 p.m. at GChoice Funeral Chapel, 2530 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19132, (215)227-0100.
