The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce staff is enjoying the summer and hopes you are as well! But even though things might slow down during the warmer months, there’s always the need to regularly focus on your business, and the CDCC is here to share a few upcoming opportunities to boost your business.

The first is their July Sunset Business Mixer. This networking event will take place at the Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity ReStore at 2311 S. Dupont Hwy. in Dover on Wednesday, July 30, from 5-7 p.m. It is hosted by the Central Delaware Housing Collaborative in partnership with Habitat and will offer hors d’oeuvres, beverages, door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and the best opportunity in central Delaware to network with like-minded business professionals.

Then, in August, the Sunset Business Mixer will be combined with the CDCC’s Member 2 Member Expo for a power-packed networking session that you won’t want to miss. It will take place Wednesday, Aug. 27, from 4-7 p.m. at the Discovery Center at the Delaware Aerospace Education Foundation, 60 ITEC Loop, Smyrna. As with all Sunset Business Mixers, attendees can expect to connect, network, enjoy light refreshments, win prizes and, of course, have fun! But at this mixer, the fun doesn’t stop there: The addition of the M2M Expo to this event allows CDCC members to showcase their business with a vendor table.

The M2M Expo is a combined chance to showcase your business with an eye-catching, in-person tabletop display. As a vendor, you can exhibit your invaluable goods and services to fellow CDCC members and their guests while interacting with qualified leads. Get your name, image and brand recognized as you meet, mingle and share your story with other local business professionals.

The CDCC is excited to welcome a large group of people to the Discovery Center at the Delaware Aerospace Education Foundation. The CDCC thanks the DASEF team for welcoming their members into this exceptional learning environment. You are reminded to bring your business cards, upbeat attitudes and cash to enter the 50/50 raffle. Be prepared to possibly go home with cool door prizes, new friends and colleagues, and cash!

Although the Sunset Business Mixers are not open to the public, CDCC members are encouraged to bring a business guest who is interested in learning more about the advantages of a chamber membership. This is a great opportunity for these guests to see firsthand the benefits of membership. Guests are welcome to attend two mixers before they are required to join the chamber to attend future events.

CDCC members, are you interested in setting up a table-top display to showcase your business at this August’s Member 2 Member Expo? The CDCC has a limited number of tables available, so seize this opportunity while spaces are still at the ready. To register your business for a table at the rate of $125, please give the CDCC office a call at 302-734-7513 or visit www.cdcc.net/events for more information. The CDCC hopes to see you Aug. 27 at the Discovery Center at DASEF in Smyrna for their Sunset Business Mixer and Member 2 Member Expo!
