DOVER - Renee A. Northam passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 46. Renee was born on April 13, 1965, in Seaford. She was a graduate of Laurel Senior High School, Class of 1983. For the last three years she worked for the City of Dover Police Department in Criminal Investigation Security. She enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, being a mom and grandmom and helping others. Renee was also creative with crafts. Renee is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Pat Northam; a daughter, Jennifer Northam of Dover; step-son, Tony Wells and his wife Theresa of Avon Park, Fla.; parents, Earl and Aileen Jefferson; two grandchildren, Zackary and Makayla Wells of Avon Park, Fla.; a brother, Earl J. Jefferson Jr. and his wife Joyce of Seaford; and a sister, Robin Griffith and her fiancé Lawrence Lank of Georgetown; special friends, Kaye Henrichson and her fiancé Frank Lemke; and several nieces and nephews. Service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, at the Calvary Assembly of God Church, 1141 E. Lebanon Rd., Dover, where friends may gather two hours earlier. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901 or FOP Dover Police Dept., 400 S. Queen St., Dover, DE 19904.
