REHOBOTH BEACH — The City of Rehoboth Beach will participate in the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 24.

People are invited to drop off any unused, unwanted or expired prescription drugs to the lobby of the City’s Police Department at 229 Rehoboth Ave. between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. There will be no questions to answer or forms to fill out. This annual event is sponsored by U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.

Law enforcement agencies across the country partner with the DEA to remove unwanted prescription drugs from home medicine cabinets and dispose of them in a safe manner.

More information on that national event is available online.
