Regina Michelle 'Mickey' Edwards, 42

HARTLY -- Regina Michelle "Mickey" Edwards of Hartly passed away at her home after a short battle with cancer with her family beside her. She was 42. She graduated from Dover High School in 1984. Mickey was employed by Marstellers Aetna and ob-gyn where she worked until her illness. Mickey loved crafts, needlepoint, word search puzzles, crocheting and being with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Regina Dickey of Dover; and her Aunt Hendell Lawson. Mickey is survived by her husband of 23 years, Bill Edwards; a son, Will Edwards; and daughter, Becca Edwards all of Hartly; three sisters, Janice Cooper and her husband Dave of Travelers Rest, S.C.., Dana Hutchins of Greenville, S.C., and Karla Prouse and her husband John of Camden; her Aunt Gayle and Uncle Knobby Stone of Greenville, and Uncle Bud and Aunt Genice Reid of Archer, Fla.; mother-in-law, Maryjane Hastings of Dover; and several nieces and nephews who loved their "Aunt Mickey" very much. Funeral services will be noon Tuesday at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover. Friends may call this evening from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 11 a.m. to noon. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
