Reba C. Durham

HARRINGTON - Reba C. Durham, of Pennsville, N.J., formerly of Harrington, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2013. Reba was born on June 22, 1938 in Norristown, Pa., daughter of the late Clyde, Sr. and Cora Laskey Campbell. She was employed as a bookkeeper for the Salem County Engineer's Office in Salem, N.J., from where she retired in 1988. Mrs. Durham was a member of the Harrington Senior Center, the Milford Church of the Nazarene and the AARP. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Huey A. "Bucky" Durham in 2006; two brothers, David Beers and Clyde Campbell, Jr.; and two sisters, Clara Keyes and Ruby Williams. She is survived by two daughters, Arlene F. Sims and her husband Lloyd of Pennsville, N.J.; and Mary Jane Slusser and her husband Christopher of Middletown; a sister, Dorothy Sparks of Millsboro; and four grandchildren, Mason Sims and his fiancée Katie Sparks, Christopher Slusser, Jr., Kristen Messick and Carolyn Hamilton. Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Burial will be held following the services at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the Milford Church of the Nazarene, 11 NW Salevan Place, Milford, DE, 19963.
