Raymond Lee Workman

MILFORD - Raymond Lee Workman, of Milford, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012, in Harbor Health Care, Lewes. He was 69. Ray was born June 20, 1942, in Georgetown, to the late Preston Workman and Hazel (MeGee) Workman Weist. He had worked as a security guard with various companies over the years. He was a member of the Harrington Moose Lodge, and had served in the National Guard. Ray enjoyed doing needlework, crocheting, and watching NASCAR. His favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt Jr. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Freck) Workman; a daughter, Terry Ann Workman; and two brothers, Fred and Beverly Workman. He is survived by three daughters, Freda Ann Workman of Dover, Martha Rae Buckley of Bridgeville, and Michelle Carey of Ellendale; a son, Jeffrey Workman of Seaford; and three sisters, Elizabeth Payton of Felton, Virginia Roop of Milford, and Hester Farrell of Frederica; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be laid to rest privately beside his wife and daughter in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. Letters of condolence can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
