Raymond G. Hubbard

DOVER - Raymond G. Hubbard died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Kent General Hospital. Raymond was born Dec. 26, 1947, in Easton, Md. to the late Sherman and Hester Sutherlan Hubbard. He served in the US Air Force, retiring in 1989 as a Master Sergeant. He then worked at the Philadelphia Naval Yard, and in Civil Service at DAFB. He was preceded in death by his brother, Russell Hubbard. Raymond is survived by his wife, Hoa "Lei" Hubbard of Dover; three daughters, Linda MacGregor and husband Rob Roy of Bridgeville, Pa., Deanna Hess and husband Craig of Hartly, Del. and Ellen Hubbard of Bridgeville, Pa.; five brothers, George Hubbard of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Fred Hubbard of Denton, Md., Bill Hubbard of Denton, Md., Bruce Hubbard of Denton, Md., and John Hubbard of Crystal River, Fla.; and grandson, Avery Hess. Funeral services will be held at 11a.m., Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, (Rt.10). Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at torbertfuneral.com.
