FELTON - Ray E. Moore, age 79, of Felton, died on August 3, 2016 in Milford. Born in Jersey Shore, Pa., he was the son of the late Wilbur and Fay (Lockeuff) Moore. Ray had been a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for over 30 years, working at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington and Kent General Hospital in Dover. He was selected as Bayhealth's Employee of the year in 2006. Ray loved children, and after his retirement from Bayhealth in 2007, he worked as a Foster Grandparent with the Lake Forest Elementary School and also volunteered with the USO at Dover Air Force Base. Ray was a friend to everyone that he met and loved by all of his co-workers, friends, and family. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him, and fondly remembered by all at Bayhealth. Besides his parents; Ray was predeceased by his son, James. He is survived by his sister, Cecilia; as well as a nephew and niece, Billy and Susan Jamison, of Jersey Shore, Pa. A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again on Wednesday, August 10 at 12:30 p.m., with a Service beginning at 1:30 p.m., at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover. Interment will follow in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. Condolences may be forwarded via www.ambruso.com
