MILFORD - Randyl A. Lyons passed away Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013 at home. He was born in Charleston, W.Va., son of the late Vernon and Kathryn (Edens) Lyons. Randyl was a truck driver for many years. He loved motorcycles, was an avid woodworker and loved his dogs. Randyl was a member of the Harrington Moose Lodge and its Moose Riders. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Lyons; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by two children, Donald Milam and Dawn Labrake; his fiancé, Tina Straw; five grandchildren; siblings, Alvin L. Rider, Fla., Rosalee Evans, Tenn., Anna Chittuim, Va., Nancy Shafer, Howard Lyons, both of W.Va., and James (Linda) Lucas, Newark; and close friends, Bryan Fitzgerald and Donald Hutsin. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford with visitation after 11 a.m. Burial will be in Milford Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
