FELTON - Ralph E. Covey Jr., of Felton, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, at home. He was 68. Mr. Covey was born Jan. 21, 1944, in Lower Merion Township, Pa., to the late Ralph E. Covey Sr. and Cornelia Ann Ward Covey. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Covey worked as a Production Manager for Perdue Chickens for 19 years retiring in 2004. Mr. Covey is survived by his wife of 39 years, Candace Sue Covey of Felton; daughters, Lisa Trolinder and her husband Brandon of Felton, and Jackie Armstrong and her fiancé Tony Smith of Farmington; son, Paul Spearman and his wife Susan of Millsboro; sisters, Barbara Martin, and Betsy Kemble, both of Camden, and Sue Moore of Milford; and six grandchildren. Services will be private. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
