Rain forces high school football postponements

The rain has caused several of Friday night's high school football games to be moved to different dates.

Caesar Rodney's game against St. Georges will now be at 2 p.m., Saturday afternoon at St. Georges. The contest was originally scheduled for Friday night at Caesar Rodney.

Woodbridge's visit to Lake Forest has been moved from Friday at 7 p.m. to Monday at 6 p.m. The game will be broadcast on 105.9 FM with the pregame show starting at 5:30 p.m.

The Sussex Central at Sussex Tech game will now be played Saturday night at 6 p.m. Indian River at Seaford was moved to Monday at 4 p.m. Laurel at Delmar was also postponed, but no makeup date has been announced yet.

The Polytech-Cape Henlopen game, originally scheduled to be played at Polytech, has been moved to Cape Henlopen. Kickoff is still Friday night at 7 p.m.

Dover at Smyrna (7 p.m.) and Conrad at Milford (7:30 p.m.) are the other remaining contests still scheduled for Friday night according to the school's athletic websites.
