DOVER - Rachel Ann Cartwright passed away Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013 at Beebe Hospital. Rachael was born June 7, 1963 in Elkton, Maryland to Julia Redding Everett and Harold M. Everett, Jr. She enjoyed reading, traveling, movies, photography, cooking and sewing but especially spending time with family and friends. Rachel was preceded in death by her husband Carl R. Cartwright, Oct. 20, 1991. She is survived by her mother, Julia Everett of Erie, Pa.; father, Harold Everett, Jr. of Ocklawaha, Fla.; brother, John Patrick Veith of Erie, Pa.; sisters, Margarett Ellen Tisdell of Dover and Donna Marlene Everett of Millsboro. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, 2013 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE 19701. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19904 to help defray funeral expenses.
