QOTD: Will new radar make for better flood forecasts?

Posted

Here is the Question of the Day:

A high-frequency radar antenna has been installed at Beach 2 in Lewes and will be connected to radar stations along the coast to monitor water quality, aid flood forecasting and navigation services, and improve ability to forecast rip currents. How will better flood forecasting benefit people who visit, live and work in Lewes?
