Police: Three arrests made after home invasion in Dover

Posted

DOVER — Three Dover residents were arrested followed a home invasion Friday, Dover police spokesman Sgt. Mark Hoffman said.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. in the 500 block of River Road, authorities said. A 20-year-old female first heard a loud banging at the front of her residence, Sgt. Hoffman said, and a front window was shattered shortly after.

Police said three females entered the home and assaulted the resident before fleeing in a Nissan Altima. The vehicle was stopped, and they were arrested without incident.

According to police, Tierra Watson, 26, was found to be under the influence at the time of the stop, and Raven Justice, 25, was in possession of a handgun.

Sgt. Hoffman said the resident’s child was at the home during the incident.

Ms. Justice, Ms. Watson and Nitajah Mally were all charged with first-degree burglary, third-degree assault, criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree conspiracy. Ms. Justice was also charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon, and Ms. Watson with DUI and traffic offenses.

Bond information was not available at press time Friday.
