DELMAR — Delaware State Police have identified Wilder Linares-Chilel of Delmar as the man who died in a pedestrian crash that occurred Thursday afternoon.
Police said Mr. Linares-Chilel was on a motorized skateboard when it swerved into a vehicle’s path on BiState Boulevard and was struck at approximately 5:51 p.m. Mr. Linares-Chilel was transported by ambulance to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured, police said.
The Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate this incident. Troopers are asking anyone who witnessed this collision to contact Master Cpl. K. Argo by calling 302-703-3264.
