Police identify Seaford man in fatal crash

BETHEL — Delaware State Police on Monday identified John Littleton, 27, of Seaford, as the man who died in a fatal collision in Bethel the day before.

Authorities said Mr. Littleton died from injuries sustained when the vehicle he was driving left Shell Bridge Road and crashed at approximately 2:16 a.m. Sunday. He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, spokeswoman Cpl. Amini Ali.

The Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate this incident. Troopers ask anyone who witnessed this collision to contact Master Corporal K. Argo by calling 302-703-3264. Information may also be provided by sending a private Facebook message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
