MAGNOLIA - Delaware State Police on Thursday identified Robert Mujica, 42, of Magnolia, as the person who died during an incident at a residence two days earlier.
Police said Mr. Mujica died after being choked by Gadiel Haro, 27, of Magnolia, in the 400 block of Stevenson Drive on Tuesday. Mr. Mujica had responded to the residence following a call for help from a neighbor at approximately 12:26 a.m., police said.
Mr. Haro was charged with second-degree murder, strangulation, endangering the welfare of a child (two counts), and offensive touching. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $1,007,500 cash bond.
