DOVER — There’s no update available in the homicide case of a 72-year-old Dover woman was found dead inside her bedroom June 25, authorities said Friday.

That was according to Delaware State Police spokeswoman Cpl. Amina Ali regarding the death of Denise Wood. Ms. Wood was located by troopers inside her residence on Case Ridge Road in Wolf Creek, according to police.

According to an earlier Delaware State Police news release “Due to the circumstances surrounding the victim’s death, the Homicide Unit has assumed the investigation.”

Also at the time, authorities said no suspect information was available.
