LITTLE CREEK — A 51-year-old Dover man was charged with felony assault following with an argument with a co-worker Sunday, Delaware State Police spokeswoman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said.
Troopers arrived at a local hospital at approximately 4:30 p.m. regarding a 58-year-old male being treated for a stab wound. Police said the man was a contractor and had received a call from a customer who was not satisfied.

The contractor contacted his co-worker, identified as 51-year-old Oscar Masias, who had actually performed the work, police said. The man went to Mr. Masias’ residence in the 200 block of Main Street in Little Creek.
Mr. Masias became enraged over the situation leading to a physical altercation. As the arriving man exited his vehicle, authorities said, Mr. Masias obtained a knife from the man’s vehicle and then stabbed him, according to authorities.
Police said the wounded man left the residence and was privately transported to a local hospital, where he was treated for a non-life threatening injury. Mr. Masias was taken into custody at his residence without incident, police said.
Charges included possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony and second-degree assault. Mr. Masias was arraigned before Justice of the Peace Court and released on $15,000 unsecured bond.
