As the high school football season reaches the midway point, the Henlopen Conference divisional races are starting to take shape.

Here's our picks for this weekend's local high school and college games.

Andy Walter, Delaware State News: 34-20

Tim Mastro, Delaware State News: 38-16

Ben Heck, Milford Chronicle: 34-20

Glenn Frazer, Radio 105.9-FM: 33-21

Games start at 7 p.m. unless noted.

Smyrna (1-0, 2-2) at Caesar Rodney (0-1, 2-2)

Despite both being 2-2, Smyrna has won two in a row while CR has lost two straight.            

AW: Smyrna, 46-14; TM: Smyrna, 56-14; BH: Smyrna, 34-21; GF: Smyrna, 40-13; MP: Smyrna, 35-18,

Polytech (1-0, 3-1) at Cape Henlopen (0-1, 2-2)

Poly has been on a roll but has lost last three meetings with Cape by a combined 139-10.     

AW: Cape, 24-14; TM: Poly, 17-14; BH: Cape, 27-14; GF: Poly, 21-20; MP: Poly, 16-14.

Sussex Tech (0-0, 2-2) at Sussex Central (1-0, 4-0)

Both the Ravens and Golden Knights are playing well going into this North showdown.

Woodbridge (1-0, 4-0) at Seaford (0-1, 2-1)

The Blue Jays get their turn at trying to stop the Blue Raiders’ 17-game winning streak.

Milford (1-0, 2-2) at Laurel (0-1, 2-2), 7:30 p.m.

Both Henlopen South rivals would really like to start stringing together some victories.

Saturday

Dover (1-3) at St. Georges (1-3), 11:30 a.m.

Both the two struggling teams are hungry to get their seasons back on track.

Indian River (0-1, 1-3) at Lake Forest (0-0, 1-3), noon

One of the two 1-3 squads will be happy to register their first Henlopen South victory.

Arcadia, Va. (3-3) at Delmar (3-1), 1:30 p.m.

The Wildcats would love to celebrate Homecoming by picking up their fourth victory.

College

Wesley (3-0, 3-1) at Frostburg State (3-0, 4-0), 1 p.m.

No. 19 Wesley gets rare chance vs. a higher-ranked team when it faces No. 11 Bobcats.

Delaware State (0-2, 0-4) at North Carolina A&T (2-0, 5-0), 1 p.m.

At least Hornets had an open date before facing one of their biggest MEAC challenges.

Delaware (0-1, 2-2) at Stony Brook (3-0, 4-1), 6 p.m.

Stony Brook may not be No. 1 JMU but Seawolves will be a tough foe for the Blue Hens.
