Odessa (3-2, 3-4) at Seaford (3-2, 5-2)

The Blue Jays want to move a step closer to securing a state tourney berth but Ducks are no pushover.           

AW: Seaford, 20-14; TM: Seaford, 33-20; BH: Seaford, 32-6; GF: Seaford, 28-20

College

Delaware State (1-1, 4-4) at Morgan State (0-4, 0-8), 7:30 p.m.

The Hornets try to make it back-to-back MEAC victories before a national TV audience on ESPN-2.

AW: DSU, 24-14 ; TM: DSU, 17-14; BH: DSU, 27-12; GF: DSU, 24-17

Friday’s games

Appoquinimink (5-3) at Smyrna (6-2)

Averaging 39.8 ppg in its four-game winning streak, Appo gets to see if it can keep pace with Smyrna.

Salesianum (5-2) at Dover (6-3)

Dover has already accomplished a lot but ending the regular season with a win over Sals would be big.

Sussex Central (4-4) at Middletown (5-1)

Golden Knights will have to prove themselves again in rematch of last year’s Division I state title game.

Milford (1-3, 3-4) at Caravel (4-1, 7-1)

After falling to Sussex Tech on Monday, Milford has short week to get ready a one-loss Caravel squad.

Red Lion Christian (1-4, 1-6) at Woodbridge (5-0, 8-0)

The Blue Raiders have a chance to finish unbeaten in Class 2A, District III’s first season of existence.

Lake Forest (1-4, 4-4) at Delmar (2-2, 4-3)

Delmar will feel better about its chances of securing a Class 2A, District III playoff spot if gets a victory.

Laurel (5-0, 7-1) at Indian River (4-0, 4-3)

The Bulldogs and Indians get the opportunity to decide the first championship in Class 1A, District II.

St. Elizabeth (8-0) at Polytech (3-5)

Being able to topple the unbeaten Vikings in the Class 1A matchup would make the Panthers’ season.

Saturday’s games

Cape Henlopen (1-7) at St. Georges (5-3), noon

Cape Henlopen coach J.D. Maull gets the chance to beat his former team but that task won’t be easy.

Caesar Rodney (0-8) at William Penn (3-5), 1 p.m.

The Riders had an open date last week to try to figure out a way to get their first victory of the season.

Early College (0-4, 0-7) at First State Military (0-5, 2-6), 1 p.m.

First State Military doesn’t want this to be the week that the Hornets get the program’s first victory.

College

William & Mary (4-1, 6-2) at Delaware (2-3, 4-4), 1 p.m.

The Blue Hens can pump some life into their season or watch their dim FCS playoff hopes slip away.
