SALISBURY - Phyllis Dell Turner, 84, of Salisbury, died Thursday, June 2, 2016, at her home. Born in Salisbury she was the daughter of the late Flavins A. Adkins and Bertha Lemon Adkins. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, where she helped start the homemade Easter Egg fundraiser, and was active in the Alter Guild. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Floyd B. "Doc" Turner; son, Thomas W. Dell of Florida; stepdaughter, Linda "Lin" Krautwurst; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Silvia and Beverly A. Gordy; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janis Dell Parks; sister, Mildred Rickards; and brothers, Richard Adkins and Charles Adkins. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment was at Wicomico Memorial Park.
