SMYRNA — Sierra Henry’s goal in the 53rd minute gave Polytech High a 3-3 tie with Smyrna in Henlopen North girls’ soccer on Tuesday evening.
The Eagles took a 3-2 halftime lead when Desiree Zapata netted back-to-back goals two minutes apart late in the first half.
Smyrna, which is 1-2-1 overall, also got a first-half goal from Bree Moffett.
Henry scored twice for the Panthers (3-0-2) with Ava Gzym adding Polytech’s first goal. Both squads are 1-0-1 in the Henlopen North.
