Graves, 81 DOVER - Phillips Mantor Graves of Dover passed away on Monday, January 11, 2015 at Bay Health Kent General in Dover. He was 81. Mr. Graves was born in Shelburne Falls, Mass. the son of the late James A. and Alice. M. (Phillips) Graves. Mr. Graves served his country proudly for 21 years in the US Air force retiring in 1974. He also worked in research and development at Playtex Corp. for 17 years. Mr. Graves was an avid gardener enjoyed tracing genealogy, and studying history, especially Civil War and WWII material. He was a member of the United Church of Christ in Dover and also a member of the American Legion in Dover. Mr. Graves is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Joyce E. (Coombs) Graves; son, Kenneth P. Graves and wife Rita, of Arizona; son, Steven C. Graves and wife Debra, of Connecticut; brother, James A. Graves of Florida; grandchildren, Christopher M., and wife Kimberly Graves, David P. Graves, Daniel S. Graves and wife Stephanie; great grandchildren, Shane, Aiden, Ryleigh, Brodey and Kyle. A memorial Service will be 5 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Burial will take place at a later date, at North River Cemetery in Colrain, Mass.
