Phillip Michael Harris

LINCOLN - Phillip Michael Harris of Lincoln, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013 at his home. Mr. Harris was born on Sept. 26, 1953 in Brooklyn, N.Y., to the late Thomas Henry and Margaret (Schuyler) Harris. He had been employed for World Imports, until his disabilities kept him from working. Michael had a natural gift as an artist and pursued his talent painting in his leisure time. In later years, he became an experienced gardener and loved being outdoors. He is survived by three brothers, Paul L. Harris of Hopewell Junction, N.Y., Thomas L. Harris of Tafton, Pa., and Leslie Harris of Nyack, N.Y.; two sisters, Patricia Harris, and Christine Cusack, both of Lincoln; nine nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and nephews. A service in celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to Aids Delaware, 37201 Rehoboth Ave, Unit 1, Rehoboth Beach, DE, 19971.
