Peyton Elizabeth Ratledge, 3 weeks HOUSTON - Peyton Elizabeth Ratledge, of Houston, died Monday, July 12, 2010. She was 3 weeks old. Baby Peyton was born, a special gift from God, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial, a long awaited miracle for her parents, Jason L. and Jessica L. Ratledge. She was a happy baby who was always smiling. She quickly became daddy's girl, and she knew when he arrived home. She perked up the most around her aunt Susan, because she was always taking pictures of her. Her three brothers enjoyed the role of being the big brothers and always wanted to help with her feeding, burping, or holding of her. Although she was only on this Earth for a short while, she was a precious baby who will be sorely missed especially by her mom and dad and big brothers. Peyton left tiny footprints on the heart of everyone she met. In addition to parents, she is survived by her brothers, Tyler L., Nathan W., and Aaron M. Ratledge, all of home; maternal grandparents, D.W. and Beth Camac of Harrington; maternal great-grandparents, Phillip and Lillian Petrone of Greenwood, and Dan and Flo Camac of Magnolia; paternal grandparents, Albert and Shirley Ratledge of Harrington; paternal great-grandmother, Elizabeth Harrington of Houston; aunt, Susan Ehlers; uncles, Jason Skinner, and Eric Ratledge; and cousin, Ryder Skinner. Services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, July 15, 2010, at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy., Harrington, where a visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
