Peter Bradford, 53 SMYRNA - Bradley 'Brad' Peter Bradford passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, Oct. 19, 2012. Brad was born Nov. 30, 1958 in Cranston, R.I., the son of the late John D. Bradford and Marion E. Bradford of Smyrna. He worked for the State of Delaware for many years while owning and operating a business in Stockton, Md. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping with family and friends. Brad also had a love of motorcycles, and cars. He also possessed a love of craftsmanship. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Vera Bradford. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Steffan Bradford and Logan Bradford; along with their mother and his ex-wife, Cynthia Golden all of Dover; his sister, Deborah Pressley and her husband, Wallace of Dover; two brothers, John 'Jay' Bradford of Smyrna and Donald Bradford of Smyrna; many nieces and nephews. A public viewing will be held on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main Street in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 11 am. Burial will be held Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna. Condolence letters may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
