WILMINGTON - Pauline M. Eihinger died at the Kentmere Nursing Home on Nov, 11, 2012. Born in Templeville, Md. on June 21, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gizella Kapai Eihinger. Polly worked at Diamond State in Wilmington, where she retired after 37 years. Polly enjoyed traveling, reading and needle work and needle point. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Henry Eihinger and Joseph Eihinger; and sister, Elizabeth Roberts. She is survived by sister, Helen; and life long companion, Frank Kanicki of Wilmington; two nephews, Paul Eihinger and Richard Roberts; two nieces, Barbara Lambert and Irene Loller; and 10 great nieces and nephews. A funeral service officiated by Father Hilary Rodgers will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012 at the Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro, MD, where friends may visit with the family on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment will follow the service in the Templeville Cemetery, Templeville, MD.
