CRISFIELD - Paul Tyler Whittington, 82, died Friday, Oct. 20, 2006 at Manokin Manor Nursing Home in Princess Anne.
Born March 8, 1924, on his family"s farm in Marion Station, he was a son of the late Austin L., Sr. and Rose Esther Tyler Whittington. His first wife, Mildred Rae Whittington, died March 2, 1990.
He was a dedicated farmer and a member of the Wesleyan Church in Crisfield.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Deborah Lynn Whittington of Crisfield; two step-children, Chuck Nelson of Crisfield and Lisa Sterling of Westover; his mother-in-law, Gladys Adkins of Crisfield; his father-in-law, Ernest "Buddy" Jones of Crisfield; two nieces; and three nephews.
In addition to his parents and his first wife, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Frances Whittington Beauchamp and Anna Rose Bradshaw; and one brother, Austin Whittington, Jr.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006, 2 p.m. at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield. The Rev. Philip Morris and the Rev. Bob Daniels officiated. Burial followed in Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield.
