Paul L. Hebert

DOVER - Paul L. Hebert, Sr. passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013 in the Veteran's Hospital, Elsmere. He was 72. Paul was born on October 14, 1941 in Massena, N.Y., son of the late Arthur and Geneva (King) Hebert. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force and later worked for the U.S. Postal Service from which he retired. Paul enjoyed carpentry, hunting, watching NASCAR, country music, dancing, spending time with grandchildren and was an avid New York Yankee fan. He was a member of the Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge 203 and the American Legion. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Corrine Fountain and Gail Fuller; and a brother, Arthur Hebert. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Elizabeth "Libby" Rigby Hebert; a son, Paul L. Hebert, Jr. and his wife Dawn; and a daughter, Lisa M. Hall; grandchildren, Joshua, Brittney and Christopher Hebert, Kellie Lowder, Lynsie Hall; and a great granddaughter, Natalie Lowder; two brothers, Richard Hebert and his wife Judy of Waddington, N.Y., Charles Hebert and his wife Karen Of Massena, N.Y.; two sisters, Paula Harvey and her husband Ben and Sandy Rochford all of Massena, N.Y.; and a Godson, Joel Koerber of Washington, DC. Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Mooseheart Child City & School, Inc., Mooseheart, IL 60539.
